The account was created in 2006. It has UNLIMITED SELLING LIMITS.... The feedback rating is 426(100%). There's 66 sales completed on this account. I'm really excited about this one!!! there's one thing.... The account is still registered to a UK address. Also I need to update the email. How do I go about doing this??? Do I browse, buy a few items for two weeks and build up Cookies first before I change the information?? I don't wanna mess this up..... Help me out....THANKS... |

Every unlimited account I've owned actually had selling limits, they just weren't visible until I called in and had a rep make them show up. I find it hard to believe eBay would give such an inexperienced seller unlimited limits.
I don't know how you should transition the account. I guess do what you said, so it looks like the original account owner moved to USA.
Good luck with your severely overpriced account! :D |
| Derdo99 | 05-18-2017 07:21 AM | Re: Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) Yeah, all i can say it's way too overpriced.
Some time ago i was interested in to purchase aged, no limit account and I found options even under $1000 USD. ;)
Anyway I hope your investment will give some positive returns.. |
| CamaroSS | 05-18-2017 09:34 AM | Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) Also be careful when you add your bank account. I had a friend give me an account from 2014 and when I tried to add a bank account it asked me to verify my phone number (because it didn't recognize my computer). Well since I didn't have access to the phone number on the account I had to add a new one. They wouldn't verify it no matter what I did. I built up a perfect transaction history, no holds on the account, no issues whatsoever until I tried to add a new bank account.
There are ways around this but it can be a headache.

But, I suppose that all depends on what and how you plan on selling. |
Re: Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) Unlimited accounts do exist. Yes there are instances where the limit doesnt show up, but with genuinely unlimited accounts, when you call in they would tell you your account doesn't have any limits.
Accounts made back in the day - whilst no limits show up now, they will assign limits at some point, usually when you link the PayPal account etc.
There is one thing you really ought to brace for, and that is the possibility that this account was stolen. Accounts for example sold on this forum are usually made by the seller, whereas the account you bought from presumably a random seller online, there's nothing to suggest they owned it.
Its actually a common phenomenon whereby they take the account with/without the owners permission, and sell it on. Eventually though, the real owner can claim their account back regardless if you change the email, password etc. - or at the very least they can get it suspended. |

| BigCJ | 05-18-2017 05:06 PM | Re: Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) If the guy (or the original owner) calls ebay and tells them the account was stolen, there goes your money... |
| shootemup321 | 05-18-2017 05:27 PM | Re: Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) Ya not sure if this was a win really not even that many sales and feedback also it's in the U.K. And your in the U.S i hope the best for you but they can easily say there account was stolen and get it back like mention above. Too much money. |
| Elliot | 10-04-2017 01:52 AM | Re: Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) After many years on Fleabay, this forum, and the internet in general doing this, I would not buy an account from anyone other than approved sellers on this forum.
The chances you'll be scammed elsewhere are especially high, the chances of a stolen or problematic account even higher, and unlike most other places, the people approved here have reputations as both sellers and creators that you can look back at as well as have confidence in going forward. |
| dallis | 10-04-2017 09:06 PM | Re: Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) No limits? We'll see how long THAT lasts.
Try listing a couple of thousand listings and report back, we'll be taking a pool on how long before they show you your REAL limits. |
| jakobrockz | 10-05-2017 02:24 AM | Re: Big score!! I purchased a "2006" account from the uk (no limits) I would get a pic of the seller's drivers license to scare him if he wants to scam you that you will take legal action... but he can EASILYYYYYY scam you... and you overpaid.
My buddy sold his 40k feedback account for $2000 once he was done with eBay. I would've bought that if I knew he was selling it then, and since I know him in person I would have to deal about being scammed. |

If this is a fresh account, change the email address first, browse around, then a week or 2 later, update the phone number. then a few weeks later the address.
If it was his personal account, ask him what his activities were so that when you start using it, it doesn't seem like all of a sudden the activities changed drastically triggering a bot to flag your account.
