Buying on eBay with personal credit card?
 

First, i'm still in the early weeks of my selling stealth accounts, they are doing fine so far thanks to this site and the Stealthbook. Now i'm trying to learn about my buying possibilities.

Like many others, I purchase a lot of expensive items off EB. Before I was banned, I would pay for everything on EB with my credit cards, profiting several thousand dollars a year just in cash back. Also maxed out on EB bucks from purchases, there was another $2k a year.

My wife's account, which is linked to mine before I knew stealth, is what I am using to buy from right now, but using her bank account to fund the purchases. ( No cash back! )


Upon checking out on EB, there is the option to pay with CC rather than PP. Can I use one of my old personal cards that was on my old PP account? Can I get a new CC card and use that? (my old PP account is still active and working, only EB banned)

I searched the forums and got mostly people trying to pay their fees with personal CC's, not buying items. Just looking for help on ways to fund large purchases.

I don't this name matters on the card. Just address and state city & zip. I could be wrong but Ive added a few cards without problems that's names didn't match. GL

I have also used real cc on eb for purchases with stealth name - it works as long as address matches

What if the address you put in for the CC is the address I had on file on my banned account? Would I have to open a new CC under the same address on my stealth EB account?


@bigsal2209, so you added a real CC to paypal and use it successfully without issues?

You never want to re-use an address from a banned account, that's an auto link.

THe easiest way is to have your bank CHANGE the address on that CC to a fresh one if you have an alternate like a UPS box.

Exactly - you can change the cc address to a post office box, for example

rsot, will this only work checking out with a CC instead of using PP?
Or does it also work if you add it to PP?
