Sudden Drop in Sales After eBay Seller Inference Update - What Gives?!
 

Hi everyone,

Has anyone other than me here noticed a drop in eBay sales recently? I noticed that ever since eBay changed the seller interface last week, I got a huge dramatic decrease in sales, like cut in more than half.

All my account stats are normal: healthy seller performance, 100% positive feedback, no outstanding disputes etc. Given that my account stats were held constant last week and this week, I wonder why there is a sudden drop in sales? Did the eBay search algorithm change or something?

Did they change something recently to make certain sellers' listings rank up higher?

Things have been a little slow on my end. I have a 20% decrease in sales from my average. But that could be attributed (at least in part) to missing the listing special on the majority of my accounts and not wanting to pay the relisting fees until a week and a half ago. Sales in the last few days have been noticeably bad.
