| | | thakid212 | 05-08-2009 12:07 AM | Best Place For VERO Items I have a bunch of VERO items I can't sell on ebay where is the best place to go sell them? |
| jesseinkaron | 05-08-2009 12:29 AM | Have you tried craigslist.org ?
You get a lot of inquiries , and most of them don't actually buy.
However I have been able to unload a lot of old stock by placing ads in craigslist . |
| Vicvelcro | 05-08-2009 12:36 AM | That depends on what you have. Certain sites are better for certain goods.
For example: I doubt you'd have much luck moving designer jeans on craigslist, but you'd probably do pretty good with an iPhone. |
| thakid212 | 05-08-2009 12:55 AM | I have designer shoes.....Gucci & Prada |

No Bonanzle! They will remove ALL ⊗⊗⊗⊗ if caught.:nono:
You may want to try iOffer. Mostly ⊗⊗⊗⊗ there, but you will have greater competition. |
| SevnSins | 05-08-2009 07:27 AM | Craigslist is partially owned by eBay, and they will pull your listings as well. The trick with Craiglist is to design your ad, create an image out of it, and repost it all over the world. Using an image in the will bypass most of their search bots. Upload your ad to a photosharing site several times, so that each ad has it's own unique name. This will allow you to post in several places, without getting the "duplicate posting" message.
 |
| Vicvelcro | 05-08-2009 08:16 AM | Bonanzle will allow VeRO items. If the items are not genuine, they will be pulled with extreme quickness. As long as it is genuine, should be no problem. |
You are correct Vicvelcro! Somehow I associated OPs Vero items with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ because he/she said can't sell on Ebay and has bunch of them. Very unlikely (but possible) to have bunch of genuine stuff.... |
| Vicvelcro | 05-08-2009 08:29 AM | Well, the OP did say Gucci. Even if genuine, would have a hella time getting it to stay up on ebay. I make the assumption that the alleged goods are genuine unless the OP says otherwise. I do so because I sell VeRO items from time to time which ARE genuine. However, most of the time, VeRO probably means ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and I'm a fool to make assumptions... |
| yaw1800 | 05-08-2009 08:45 AM | Just a note, if they are not real and you use paypal to accept payments and the buyer complains, if paypal sides with the buyer, they get refunded AND keep your item |
You must use PayPal to sell these, no way around it on Ebay. I understand it IS because people selling so many ⊗⊗⊗⊗, so buyers can get their money back. Scam and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ induced this paypal polices screwing everybody in the process. |
| SevnSins | 05-08-2009 08:55 AM | Not always. I've had customers complain that an item wasn't as described or "⊗⊗⊗⊗", and won my dispute. My items were in fact genuine, and I was able to provide receipts proving so.
So; even if selling that crap, you just need to come up with an editable receipt to use in these situations. Of course repeat claims against you will probably eventually get you limited. |
| Vicvelcro | 05-08-2009 08:56 AM | And THAT genie has been let out of the bottle. No putting it back in. The ⊗⊗⊗⊗ peddlers are a heap-o-bastijiz! |
| thakid212 | 05-08-2009 10:06 AM | well I really on have two pairs now.....I was selling them on ebay no complants but I got a Trademark infingement notice so IM not gonna sell them on ebay anymore cause I dont wanna get suspended....I been to ioffer it will be impossible to sell them there because everybody seem to be selling them.....I cant sell my real ones for $250+ when they are selling there is shoes for about $50+ |
| SevnSins | 05-08-2009 10:18 AM | I would stay away from ioffer, it's FULL of ⊗⊗⊗⊗. If you have real ones, do you not have a receipt? You might do a search at eBid & UBid, and see the average prices. Heard they get some decent traffic. Also; some people on this site have been saying good things about ebanza & Bonanzle.
Give them a try, I think most of them are free to list.
:typing: |
Yes, don't try selling those again on account where ebay took it down. What you may try to do is re-list on another ebay account if you have one for more than couple of months..Than re take many pictures and some good close ups so that Vero can see they are genuine. I can spot ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on certain brands from from miles away......If your items are used, it would be understandable you don't have receipts any more. Nobody spends all this money retail on genuine stuff and than indefinately keeps receipts just in case they may want to put it up for sale on Ebay one day. ( although, I am starting to wonder about that..would be good idea).
Otherwise, I would highly recommend Bonanzle. Many Ebay sellers going there now as it seems people have finally found decent auction site with decent traffic, selling their decent stuff. |

| Vicvelcro | 05-09-2009 09:40 AM | Bonanzle is pretty effective at spotting and nuking bogus goods. Probably not perfect, but pretty dxmnxd close. |
| kuntrykok | 05-09-2009 09:41 AM | mmac900 could you pm me with some suggestions, I have some vero issues that I would like to avoid as well.
Thanks,
