Would I be trouble if I change the device?

Hiya, I wanna change the device for ebay and paypal. Desktop was used all along but I wanna work by using a new tablet. Will I be trouble if I make a withdrawal or sending money by a new device?

Thanks a lot!

You need to be recognised by cookies, and not get flagged, so when you go on the new device, log in but do not withdraw, then come back the next day or even better a few days later, after you have logged in a few times, and then you can withdraw...

Dust off your original phone number, they're going to want to be sending texts to it to confirm you're who you say you are.

This, you may get a PayPal limit from my experience unless you're using AT LEAST a known/familiar IP.

OP did not say it is a different IP type, assumption is same ip range, just different device.

Never needed phone call, just do logins over a few days, before doing anything like withdraw/sell etc...

I change laptops when they blow up on me, and need to move aged accounts over, and it works...

Re: Would I be trouble if I change the device?

My last laptop change I had the same IP ranges and devices, logged in repeatedly over a few weeks, and every account required texts or other identifying routines to list new items or take various other actions.

Can I just copy and paste the cookies of Chrome from my desktop to the tablet? Anything else should I do? I login Paypal at fixed IP but ebay at random IP. Thanks

Are you saying that you are now using a fixed IP for PayPal but not for ebay......confused as hell there.

Yes I have been browsing paypal by fixed IP and ebay by random IP using my desktop. I plan to use by tablet to browse ebay mainly. Should I get trouble in case of that?

Just curious, why aren't you browsing both with the fixed IP?

If I were you , I'd use the IP that's the same for both for that session even if the IP is dynamic.

Oompa is right, inch in so the device si recognizable by eBay.
