USPS pickup with mismatching address
 

So many of us use stealth addresses that don't exactly match (or aren't even close) to our home address or business address. I for one use a few addresses multiple towns over, with different names that aren't close to mine at all.

For my normal eBay account (non-stealth), it's not an issue for me to use my real name and real address. So when USPS picks it up, it's no issue. The shipping label matches the residence.

But what about the stealth accounts? Getting to the post office can be such a hassle sometimes, but I don't want to leave mail on my doorstep with information that is so different than my personal info. Is there a middle ground you guys use?

(I imagine Post Office dropoffs are the only real workaround, I'm just checking to see if there are alternate methods)

I think letting a mail carrier persistently see the name and address are different than your residence, or worse, that there are lots of different names and addresses is probably looking for trouble.

In any case is leaving lots of packages laying around on your front porch for pickup a good idea? Porch shopping is a real thing, you know?

Dont leave your mail by the door take it to the post office
