woman posted lot of vick cards that her dogged chewed. stated the proceeds would go to humane society charity of the winning bidders choice. bidding got up to $6400 when ebay yanked the auction.
what do you guys think about this? it does make ebay look bad. i am always glad to see ebay make itself look bad! i guess the problem was the woman did not want to choose one of ebay's listed charities and just stated she would donate to whatever charity the winner chose. who knows, maybe it was a scam, but it seems like she was doing it with good intentions. not that ebay cares about intentions.i think she is playing with fire and will be off of ebay in a month tops.
she has relisted them, wonder if they will let the auction ride this time. i would say what she was doing was in keeping with that "spirit of ebay". same spirit which has gotten so many suspended.
meanwhile stephen colbert's cast is up to $13,400 |
