Sales dropped by half in my niche
 

Is it too much competition or the niche is no longer in trend? There are over 5 shops on shopify selling the same items in my niche and all ranking on the first page of Google. Is it time to change my niche??

You cannot depend on 1 niche, u have to have 100s of niches...

It's possible to sell in multiple niches on eBay. But I'm trying to move over to my own website and it is not possible to build multiple websites and drive massive traffic to it and enough to make a living off of the website.

It takes a lot of time to drive traffic to a website through social media and do SEO. I'm still in the process of learning google adwords and Facebook ads.

Only you would know since niches can differ. Have you researched the niche you are in to see if there is new competition?

There are always going to be competition popping up everyday. It's a niche within women apparel. Just wondering if anyone knows the signs of a niche's market becomes saturated.

why not go to eBay and just look at sold listings and see how many sellers are there from when you started and now?

Maybe it's time to groom your listing. Photos, prices... how high up are you in eBay search query? If you're not near the top, sales will be slow... work on optimizing photos, descriptions, shipping/handling time, customer service, etc. Kill your listing and "sell similar", don't relist it, and take that as opporunity to start fresh. See how it goes. Price the item below your competition and then gradually increase as you rise up the rankings

handling time will be a problem for me as I dropship so it's going to be 15 days or longer. But my competitions are doing fine with this extended handling time. He only has a larger selling limit than me.

These are questions we can't answer because we don't know your niche.

Putter around with it and see if you can figure out what the problem is.
