Default Remove negative feedback from scammer

Is it possible to request for a feedback removal if you already replied to it? I had a scammer returned me an empty box and a negative feedback. First rep told me she couldn't remove it before they favored the buyer ( ebay refunded both of us) so I replied to the feedback...then i spoke to second rep and he said it was possible if I hadn't replied to the buyer feedback in the first place.

keep trying to remove the feedabck, I had requested ebay to remove a defect on my account, all three ebay reps said no, but the 4th one helped me and removed it.

Look at the feedback very carefully , look for anything that could violate feedback rules. You have to do alot of digging and coming up with proof also in regards to a fraudulent transaction

The rep saying they cant remove it because you replied is 100% BS. That makes no difference.

This is... absurd.

I'm happy to hear you got your refund. But under no circumstances should that buyer have gotten a refund.

It's happened to me recently too, where the buyer has tried to scam me and I've called it in, and Paypal refunded us both... and while I'm happy I got my money back, it's a matter of principle.

Paypal/eB says they monitor the buyer's history of abusive returns, but I have my doubts.

Yeah, read what they say carefully - they don't DO anything about it, they just 'monitor' it.

They only DO anything if starts to cost THEM a LOT of money.

Took your advice and i was also able to have it removed. Thank You all!

1st rep - Can't remove dues to it being an OPINION
2nd rep - Can't remove dues to me having to replied to it already
3rd rep ( Fraud/Suspicious dep) - Will be taken care of within an hour, but still didn't remove
4th rep (specialist) - Can't remove it because we can't verify if you really received an empty package

Stuck with a negative feedback...

Did the person ever threaten you with feedback, or mention feedback in any way, or even hint of feedback?

I had this problem once.
Had a buyer once who won auction and didn't pay after several days. Opened a UPI case, buyer paid then opened after receiving claiming the item was F***. He also neg'd me stating I sell F*** items.

Called EB twice, two different reps refused to remove stating it was buyer opinion.

I ended up opening a case with the San Jose, CA BBB (EB's HQ) and provided the details. About two weeks later I got a response from "Office of Executive Escalations" via BBB stating they looked into the matter and removed the FB as a courtesy. They also mentioned that they look to the user policy in regard to removing FB.

As ebabe wrote above, look for anything that could violate feedback rules or policy, and keep trying different reps, or escalate to the exec office if that fails.

I'm not seeing what reason you used to get your FB erased.
