Listing Old Inventory On Stealth Account?
 

Can I list my pre-stealth inventory on my stealth account?

I've upgraded my camera so my picture quality will be different and maybe I could put a tag in my listings also?

Other than that on my pre-stealth account my photos were taken on a white background and I plan to continue using that white background.

Should I list my old inventory slowly as I list new inventory? or just forget about the old inventory?

Don't forget to change also description and template if you had one.

People say this, but has anyone actually had accounts linked due to identical listings?

(that being said, I agree it's wise to modify it and will always do this)

Didn't really have a template more of a list major flaws/take good photos, but I'll be creating a small template now/have better photos.

Damn gonna have to get rid of a lot of inventory then, but better safe than sorry.

I few items I believe I was the only listing that item or one of 2-5 to list that item.

What's the manner by which they've gotten linked? The metadata of the image? the image itself? The style?

Is it via the bots or via competitors/buyers reporting suspiciously similar listings

Image metadata, item description, HTML code... eBay analyzes everything.

Here's the basic rules without making it complicated:

New pictures, new description, new template.

OR modify the picture with photoshop. But everything else has to be new

You don't have to get rid of that inventory... go out to thrift shops and buy a good bit of break-even items and list them. It'll flood your products and make it less noticeable

I think that's a poor argument. Plenty of sellers can take a pic of their product with the same white drop background at the same angle.

I'd say just make sure its not the SAME EXACT picture and def have data cleaned

You background doesn't have to be the same all the time. Description and meta data is a must! And don't use the same background for different accounts with the same product. I didn't 2 times but didn't get linked. May be I am just lucky

All different items so far that i've sold on that account.

I've already sold four items :(. Gotta wait till next month for extra listings.

You can't get linked for similar inventory. I don't get where people get this ideas from.

Use Batch Purifier on your photos. You can download it for free and it scrubs all photos clean.

Nobody said 'similar inventory'.

The OP wants to use his old pictures on a new account and wonders if they CAN be linked.
