Running multiple eBay business accounts
 

I have a business eBay and PayPal account that is doing great. The thing is, it's almost doing to good. I'm running easily over 10k per month. So I think it's best to spread the sales of course between accounts. My question is does anybody run one business with numerous eBay accounts?

What I mean is, I was thinking of opening a savings account, and maybe another business checking account w/ savings. That'd add another 3 accounts I can spread my growing sales with. I know those other 3 accounts will have the EIN/SSN limit per year which is fine. Obviously it is much easier to run as few llc's as possible, and since I have one, for tax purposes it seems to make sense.

I do have 2 other llc's that somewhat spread my sales. But I was thinking of doing this with all my llc's just to minimize any chance of over doing these accounts.

FYI: I understand that if it was just a schedule c, I could technically just have separate accounts and file taxes as a sole prop. Really just wondering if anybody is doing something like this with their business. Keeping expenses and everything under the same business.

I think most, if not all of us, have multiple accounts.

It's just a way of life on EB and other sites these days.

Many people do spread sales over multiple accounts - it's good risk management.
