So ive been selling on ebay since approx 2003, I have been banned many times, but never felt like i was purposely creating a stealth account. Im sure as technology has changed, ebay has gotten better at tracking and such. When i first started i used an account under my moms name, then i went to college and opened one from the school, then opened another with my name built it to 1200 feedback, then got banned, then created a business account which was banned today- somehow i got them to reinstate it. I also have another business account, but surely its linked at this point. I Keep approx 150-200 listings and have items listed from $6 all the way up to $24k- Generally I dont have any issues, but you know how easy it is to get banned....

Sorry for the back story-
We are looking at leasing a new building. If i were to create a new business account under a DBA or a corporation, and only access it from that location or from a "Stealth" phone (Or i suppose a new user account,) would that suffice. I would also obviously use a new bank account, new phone number, and new email.

I would have to make sure to never access my current accounts from that location or vis versa correct? Unless i changed my IP and logged in under another user account?

I dont want another scare like today, as 50% of my income (Several thousands of dollars) comes from ebay, and would totally screw me if i didnt have a back up ready to go.

I would imagine, from reading here, that its a good idea to establish the account and use it for basic things for a good amount of time. From what i see it would not be smart to immediately start moving my listings from my current account now, to that account.

I think you are overthinking man. As it's normal if you're new to stealth. I can see that you already read the book, so just write on a paper all the info you need to create stealth accounts, and also read and re read the step to step guide. You can do many methods but most of the times location/ building it's not a matter (unless you log in from another country).

Probably so, thanks - I tend to overthing everything as i get older--- probably becoming an old paranoid bat haha

It isn't a restaurant, ie "location, location, location", it's the info.

One simple rule: Everything has to be different. Everything. Say it again along with me: everything different.

"Can I reuse a new PP with my old EB?": Everything. Different.

"Can I reuse my pictures?": Everything. Different.

"Can I reuse my cat's hair?": More of a personal thing, try a different forum. :)
