Hey guys,

Do you buy UPC numbers ? or you just stay with the UPC numbers from Amazon, Walmart and etc.,

Umm, if your items have UPC numbers from amazon or walmart, why would you buy UPC numbers? You're not giving us all information...

I think there is a language barrier, I think he may be referring to entering the items UPC on the selling page? I dont quite know.

I don't always enter UPC number if it doesn't auto show up in my listing.

UPC's are slowly becoming mandatory in certain categories so I think that may have something to do with OP's question. Currently you'll get a "yellow flag" notice saying "****** products have a registered UPC. Please enter the product's UPC or leave this field blank" if you're listing/revising an item in those categories. It's strange they added "or leave this field blank" but I don't think that will last forever. Sooner or later we will all have to enter a valid UPC if the item we're selling has a UPC.

@OP - There are websites out there with millions of UPC's indexed.
