Bypass ebay and paypal social security/ EIN
 

Making some new stealth accounts. Ebay and paypal are asking for social security or EIN number? Won't let me make account without. Never asked this when I made new accounts before.

Anyone else getting this? Whats the bypass?

Just made a couple accounts earlier today. I had no such problem.

hmmm Never had this problem before either. Any idea why? I made ebay listed item and then it keeps taking me back to add social or ein before making listing active. Can't make paypal at all.

I've logged in and out it keeps taking me to the page to verify individual or coporation etc and social or EIN?

Bjamin did it ask you to tell them more about your business and select type Are you doing it as a business or personal ? I haven't come across this before

paypal keep saying patriot act b.s. and asking for social or ein. Can't get past this page.

If you are so stubborn to accept, try to make more than 1 to see a pattern, then it will be more conclusive. 1 account showing this is not enough to be conclusive.

yes business. apparently you can't use personal and accept credit cards anymore.

I was not being either. If you are creating a business paypal then they must have one of the 2. I create individual paypal accounts

You haven't seen truly rude and condescending until certain others arrive here.

You do have to choose if you are an individual or a corporation when creating a business PP.

Are you saying they want the entire SSN or just the last 4 digits? I've never had to enter my entire SSN when CREATING a PP account either.

You haven't been able to create Business PayPal accounts without SS or EIN #s for years.

I just reviewed my notes on my last business PP created, which was in Feb of this year, and I used an EIN, not a SSN.

OP should have stated it was a business account from the very beginning. He then insulted the ones trying to help him and just like that, he disappeared.

Just because others here are asking you a few questions to better understand your precise situation BEFORE offering advice does NOT mean that they are rude and condescending.

As a matter of fact the questions are most likely because the majority of user's here already know that your situation is most likely YOUR fault and are being polite.

They are asking questions to confirm their suspicions before calling you a MORON who created a Business Paypal account where an EIN or SS is required instead of a personal one where it is not.

Yes, I have same issue . I buy mine from Benjamin and getting a message to input social to keep using PayPal .

Anyone know how to bypass this ????

You don't "get around" you register an EIN and submit that or burn the account and move on
