Just created an LLC but have a question
 

So I just created an LLC online.. but its a Saturday night and it hasn't been approved yet. and says it will take 2-4 days for it to be approved.

I just got my second EIN request from Paypal so I wanna upload an EIN immediately.

Can I register for an EIN from IRS website right away? And then upload it onto Paypal or do I have to wait 2-4 days for the LLC to be approved by the secretary of state office and then apply for an EIN?

You *should* be able to register for the EIN right away.

That said the IRS EIN website isn't operational 24/7

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time

Just make sure the LLC is fundamentally difference enough from any other company with a related name. I had one rejected recently after I had it planned out. Not a huge deal to change details, etc.. but still. Better to do it off the bat.

I have always got the EIN first and then registered with the state later down the line. I have never done it in the order you have.

Sorry.. the answer is 'Yes, you can file for an EIN ASAP' (as Aspkin said, there are specific days hours that you can get an EIN.) If your LLC filing gets kicked back, you just need to send in any corrections to the IRS with the appropriate paperwork. That way your info will line up in their records when PP/Amazon checks in with them for your entity.
