They are horribly risky.
Everyone knows someone who knows where to get nike stuff from. Not saying your friend isnt legit, but you will most likely get shut down like mega fast...

Its one of the most counterfeit items on ebay next to louis vuitton

Expect your account not to last.

Pretty much one of the highest risk items that you can sell on an account!

You're better off selling through Craigslist if you just wanna sell 5 pairs here and there.

It really depends on the account. Some Nike stuff is definitely more risky than others. If they are ultra high end Jordans and some other Nike SKUs then be very very careful. I flip Nike shoes all the time on my Business Account I know are legit but I also have 10,000 feedback and have had that account since 2011. I will say most my products are more mid grade items and not the ultra high end that would cause major attention.

Personally if the products are legit make sure you take a bunch of your own pictures and have proper documentation just in case you will be fine. Just start slow and grow it. I know a few people who a decent portion of there business is shoes and they started by just flipping Nike Shoes they found at Ross.

NIKE is definitely considered high risk, especially on new stealth accounts.

Some products are highly counterfeited, Nike is one of them. This isn't something new, its been going on for as long as I can remember.

Avoid Nike products (whether the shoes are New or Used).

If you want to sell them, consider doing it once the account has become more established. But note, your bound to get lots of invoice requests to confirm authenticity.

I haven't been on board as much as I use to. Since when have they started doing invoice requests? Is it usually for violations or just people with no selling history or feedback that try to list gripload of stuff?

Thanks for any information.

PayPal making invoice requests in the event of a severe limitation - has always been the case.

eBay making such requests are usually reserved for when sellers begin to sell something which is deemed extremely high risk, and they are doing it consistently. iPhone's are a prime example, if you sell them regularly, regardless of condition, you will very quickly have selling rights revoked until you provide invoices.
