Hello.

Can someone explain how it works in real life ? Im just created my personal account and i want to buy expensive brand item, but there is many scamers as well in ebay. If my deal went something wrong can ebay say NO for money refund for new account ?

Most people would say the only one at risk is the seller, but it's possible to get scammed as a buyer.

Use your credit card through PP, you'll have three layers of protection, EB, PP and your credit card as a fallback.

If you're really worried you're better to buy at a local vendor where you can handle the product and be sure you're getting what you pay for up front.

I think it is also fair to say that if you see an unbelievably low price online, you're likely to get scammed, one way or another.

For example, a brand new Coach pocketbook you see everywhere else for $199 that you buy for a deal at $19.99 is likely to be problematic... one way or another.
