buyer scamming,ebay closed case but still held?
 

First off the buyer asked me to ship to a different address after i already shipped it out. A few days later he opens a case and says that ups says that it was being returned to a sender witch was a lie. I called ebay today and they closed the case and released my funds since it was delivered.

i got a email after i called saying

"eBay Customer Support has made a final decision.
Final decision :
This case was found in your favor
Transaction information :
Any remaining funds from this PayPal transaction are available. "


wtf? I am confused two hours later i get a email saying "Your case was placed on hold temporarily. We will get back to you with an update by Jul 26, 2017.
eBay Customer Support Comments:
We have asked for more information from your customer to confirm the condition of the item received. If any additional information is needed from you we will request it through an email. "

What is going on? I thought they made a "Final decision" ? What should i do? the buyer said that he lives there but then after i said i was filing a ups case. he said "no problem close it my friend lives there." Should i tell ebay that he said he lives there but all a sudden hes going there tomorrow to pickup the package?

If you talk to someone at ebay on the phone, they will sort it all out. If they close it in your favor, and then change their mind, they also usually let you keep the money anyways, and pay the buyer out of their pockets.

It went to the registered address and shows delivered, you'll be fine, call and sort it out.

so even if he pulls something like its damaged i wont have to refund a penny most likely ? Should i even bother reporting the buyer?

If thee says he has received it and its damaged they will have the option to return it to you

Well, that's a different story. Why do you think he will report it as damaged? Lets just see what happens with the item not received case first. THen we can move on from there.

he did and i told ebay and they closed the case monday. i guess ebay is not bad if the buyer is a obvious scammer . they must of lost a lot of business :)
