Does it not matter that my bought account has a different name?

So I have forgotten how this is supposed to work, but my Ebay has a different name and address than mine (obviously, becuase it is bought here), if Ebay decides to ask for my documents, wouldn't I be screwed? Or can I claim that is just a DBA name/alias?

well, you of course cant link yourself. You would have to become creative or move onto a new account.

They haven't contacted me and I haven't started selling yet but I want to know what I can do in such case if they do check on me.

supply them with the information they ask for such as Drivers license, utility bill, bank statement etc...
