Individual account can't accept payments from AMERICAN EXPRESS
 

Hi guys
Question: what is the difference between VISA/Mastercard/American Express for an American buyer when he decides to purchase using PayPal, and which on them is preferred to him?

the reason why Asking : because I have switched my business type account to INDIVIDUAL instead of sole proprietorship and discovered that I will not be able to accept payments from people who live in the USA via AMERICAN EXPRESS.

for an eBay beginner seller is this going to decrease highly the purchases coming from the AExpress accounts? in general, what is the American habit purchase using PayPal from eBay, any statistic?

Have you tried taking paying via AMEX now that you have swapped your account?

I have never come across them not accepting AMEX before. First time for everything though

Not yet ! and how can I know if the purchase is via AMEX? is there a trick to track payments sources?
- Paypal accept AMEX if you have a merchant business account, but if you have an individual business account they tell you by a notification that you will not be able to accept AMEX, I forgot to take a screenshot of the message
