17" laptop recommendations - windows 7
 

Hi,

I am looking for a new 17" laptop (or bigger)

One issue I have is that I am looking for one with windows 7

Not wanting old spec 2nd hand laptops.

Are there any new laptops out there that have windows 7 installed still?

No, and Microsoft has stopped supporting windows 7. No current hardware architecture supports 7 properly.

You're going to have to go with Windows 10.

I use an HP 17' with an i7 and it's lightning fast. It's fast enough that it's able to react far faster than I can, and I can't imagine noticing a difference even if speeds get any faster, which I'm sure they will.

I also use a dell 17 inch with an i7 and touchscreen.

Both work really great for anything I do.

The only thing about the 17 inch laptop is you can take it anywhere, but it's really, really big, and heavy compared to the smaller 14 inch thin units.

I've been looking for the same thing.

There are a few models at Dell.com. They're several years old though.

I got one you can stand up like a tripod, it's about 6 months old, and it was on sale for something like $799, back lit keyboard, touch screen, it's nice. :)

This one was a new model.

I had to shop it around like crazy, got it at best buy.

I have started to use my Dual OS Tablet for checking on my accounts, if I'm on the go and need to answer questions.....also I synced up each account via Firefox so I always have the same links on my tablet.

Just a suggestion... :) You better go with lower size Laptop and attach a Monitor when you're at home or office.
