Question regarding to selling on eBay.de as a non German Resident

So i was thinking to start drop shipping from Amazon De to eBay.De, but the thing is that i'm not a Germany resident. How does the VAT apply for?

Do i just need to collect VAT with my home country rate and not worry about anything related to German? As far as i know, if i sell in the ebay.co.uk as a non UK resident, i need to apply for UK LTD in the beginning when the turnover is 0, but i believe it's not the case here
