New paypay linked to eBay but error
 

Hi

My pp was limited couple years ago and last week I logged into it to see but there was no limitation errors or anything. Anyway I decided to buy from eBay and once I clicked through to PayPal from eBay ,I got a message saying your transaction cannot be completed , return to eBay.

I assumed the pp was still limited so I unlinked the email from eBay and linked a new pp email ( which was in a different name and address) . EBay seems to show it linked to the new pp even though once I logged in to pp via eBay to link it, it seemed like one step of the final process was missing.

Anyway, now when I try to purchass from eBay and switch accounts to the new pp email it asks to log in which I do and then when it refreshes , the Continue and Pay button does not highlight for me to go to the pp website .

When I purchased something couple days ago it let me but that was only because maybe I had pp credit which I had to select to use balance first.

I did add new bank details to the new pp email which is in my name and it did show bank acct added.

Where am I going wrong please ?

You can't link a new PP to an old EB. All three are now linked.

Your EB is dead as a seller account. You could probably purchase on it with a gift card, but you won't be selling on it any more.

The bank account and the new PP are now spoiled too.
