anyone know about this?

JamesNorth101 | 08-12-2017 12:04 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay Next one is usually 30 days, although it can be permanent
It used to be 3 months but now days its pretty one warning, 1 x 7 day limitation, 1 x 30 day limitation and then a perm limitation no matter the time frame (as far as I can tell!) |
cool25 | 08-12-2017 12:12 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay 1 Warning = 7 days . But if you continued 3rd party work or breaking rules they can ban
you permanent without giving any warning |

so i get a month next then, do these ever run out though? like after a year it'll reset back to one warning etc? |
JamesNorth101 | 08-12-2017 12:54 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay You can get a perm ban next time as well. Its either perm ban or 30 days.
As mentioned it used to be mark on your account for 3 months, but now it seems to just be forever |
dallis | 08-12-2017 04:37 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay The warning doesn't expire.
Next time you're done. |
shootemup321 | 08-12-2017 09:47 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay Ya be careful I got 2 warnings then a 7 day restriction and then permanently banned. That is not a good message to wake up to lol. I would start learning stealth and get some new accounts. Let that one cool down for a little bit. |
amonasra | 08-25-2017 05:34 AM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay my experience. I got one warning, then one 7 days restriction, then 2 suspensions, after each suspension you should call them and explain whats happen and then they reinstate your account.
final suspension was because I agree to meet and sell outside of EB and bamm ! I got indefinitely suspension. |
SaiJin | 08-25-2017 10:09 AM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay Not sure what your goals on eBay are... if you are just trying to sell one or 2 things or actually have an ebay business...
if you are serious selling on eBay, you need to follow the stealth guide. |
dallis | 08-25-2017 10:41 AM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay :sIt's really very simple.
If you're doing something wrong, and you get caught and told if you do it again you're finished, JUST STOP DOING IT!!!!

JUST STOP DOING IT!!!! | I respectfully disagree. JUST DO IT RIGHT!!! should be the sentence here.
Every deal you can get outside of ebay or amazon gets you some independence. but you need to be smart about it, and know what you are doing.
I don't want to go into much detail here, but as a hint: ask yourself which messages between you and the potential buyer ebay can read and which it can't read. |
amonasra | 08-25-2017 12:10 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay they can read everything, but usually don't do this if you are not flagged |

shootemup321 | 08-25-2017 12:28 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay Let me add I have done outside sells in the past with no problems u have to do it right as not messaging phone numbers. Emails are all right but u want to get creative so the message sends sometimes they will block it. Example at g mail com . In my experience if your not doing it every sale u will be good.
Like listed above it can be left in a note for future business. |
dallis | 08-25-2017 06:52 PM | Re: restricted for selling outside of ebay JUST DO IT RIGHT!!!
Not unfair, but let's come on down on the bottom line here.
You and I can take sales off EB all day long with no problem. The issue isn't us and what we can do. The issue is the OP.
This person, after 3 warnings and a suspension, either isn't smart enough or careful enough to take sales off EB without getting caught three times.
Seriously guys, what's going to change here?
There's no shame in not being a big dog, but if you're a small dog you need to understand that and stay on the porch where it's safe. :) |
