Holliday season sales!
 

So I've been an eBay seller for less than a year and have seen pretty decent sales in the months I've sold. But I've never sold during the Holliday season. It'll be here soon enough, so I'm starting to get excited about it.

Just out of curiosity, how much of a bump do you guys personally see during buying season? And when does it REALLY pick up for you guys? :)

It really depends on what you sell, pricing, etc.... So many other factors.

Some items are hot sellers no matter what time of year. Others pick up around Oct/Nov, peak around xmas, then taper off after that.

As for seeing a "bump in sales" it's going to really depend.

And you should start stocking your inventory right now... during those seasons, the shipping time is going to be very bad for you

I sell mostly electronics. I recall that on July 4th, my sales spiked through the roof! It appears consumers spend more on those days (drinking and feel good events). I advise to list the week before the holidays and let it run through until the day of or the day after the holidays. You should see a lot of traffic.

Within a mount I sold 500 products ... from 5-7 listings. But it is good month during the holidays! Stock up mate!

It all depends on many factors such as the nature of the items etc

But being at least in 4-6 all year around categories I would say at least 2-4 times higher than compared to regular average months. And I am talking for overall sales, not just 1-2 products that can sell 10 times more during holidays
