Buying with stealth account to redeem coupons
 

eBay has been throwing me $50 coupons that I really want to use. I have a handful so far and probably many more coming on my younger accounts that still have some maturing to do. I don't really care to buy things for myself, but I can definitely buy some things that I can just resell. $0 cost of goods, $50 profit each :)

Question is, what's the safe way to use these? My regular eBay account was restricted, so would it be unsafe to ship there? (even though there's another Ebay user at my address who only buys)

I have other addresses I can use (PO box, friends, neighbors), but once I input them in the system, would they be forever tied to these accounts? Plus, I could probably only use them once per account?

What shipping options do I have to redeem these coupons? help!

They don't monitor shipping addresses on purchases very closely in my experience. I've bought on at least ten stealth accounts (mostly to use the coupons you're referring to) and I've used a variation of the same address (my home address) on each account with no problems. Adding something like "front porch" or "front door" works for me. Some others have said they've been successful adding something like "Apt 1" to their street address but I've always avoided that method. Some mail carriers would see that as an invalid address and refuse delivery.

I'd use an address I have access to and actually modify the street name a little bit if it was suspended previously. Use a new eBay / PP account exclusively to buy.

Or perhaps have it shipped to your neighbor if it's just once.

OP can u say what u have to spend to use the $50 coupon I guess it's time to make a couple more back up accounts..

they will always be more lenient with shipping addresses since lots of people live in buildings where packages are left with the doorman

It's just a free $50 coupon so it doesn't require me to spend any given amount to use it... not like a x off coupon or anything like that. I just use it to get $50 things for free :)

Never ever, not a single one. I buy all of my shipping and office supplies (+ personal purchases) with stealth PP balances and have been doing so for years without problems. I have my return address on one account configured the same way.
