Need to change EIN on eBay due to new company

I am starting a new company to get a new EIN for stealth amazon, so I want to close my existing LLC that means I will have to update my EIN information on ebay, is it safe to do this? ebay account is well established over 5 yrs old with thousands of feedback and never had any issues.. any ideas?

why do you use EIN in the first place on a stealth? if you catch a lawsuit or get a subpoena you SSN is linked..
