Ebay store commission

Hello friends. I had a question on the ebay store.
The fact that the commission when subscribing to ebay store is reduced by 1% is understandable.
I'm interested in what commission ebay charges from sales from advertising? There are standard fees from ebay + paypal, if my listings will also be advertised to them, another commission is added? But how much does it cost? Please, friends, help. Nowhere can I find the answer

Re: Ebay store commission

You choose the additional % fee, there's a slider and in theory the more you 'bid', the more placement you get.

I was involved in the Beta phase, and I saw no marked increase in sales, although if I sold something that the program supposedly was responsible for, I was charged whatever % I'd authorized.

There's absolutely no accountability in the program, you have to take their word that the sale came from the 'promoted listing' program, and it applies to any sale of the product over the next thirty days.

Overall a bad, bad, bad program, asking us to trust EB to keep their word about how often our product is shown and then pay them if they claim to be responsible for any given sale.

Also, while your listing is promoted, it is exempt from the usual round of exposure, meaning it Cassini removes it from the regular visibility routine, and it is only shown via promotion.

So you want to say that my listings will disappear from the issuance and will be shown only in advertising from other sellers in the listings? I conducted research and noticed that the product that is advertised is more sold than the one that is not advertised. The research was conducted on the same goods with the same prices and different ratings of sellers.

Then run with it.

Your results may differ from mine, but it was a huge waste of time and money in my case.

You're paying twice for the exposure you should have gotten in the first place.
