Previously used Public wifi networks
 

Ive returned to college and have the same login details for the wifi as before.
Previously i had an ebay account, which i dont want to be associated with anymore, which i accessed from this location.
If i access ebay from this location, do I risk contaminating my new account?

To access the wifi you must provide a username, the username is the same as before.
I dont think ebay should be able to tell from their outside position, but i want to ask to be safe given whats potentially at stake.

Login In details have nothing to do with the IP. Check if the IP is the same. Maybe it's not the best idea to use a public wifi anyways. Why not get yourself a VPN?

Ebay can see that the IP is from a school, don't use the school Internet...that simple.

Mobile Data Dongles - That is your best bet, if not VPN.

I agree, Mobile Data Dongle....not the other kind of dongle!
