Creating new account in my girlfriends name..
 

So I am banned from Ebay obviously.
I want to create an account in my girlfriends name.

1 problem is that her current home address is linked to my non-stealth paypal with my real info.

Her current ID has her old address on it which is not linked to my name/paypal/ebay whatsoever.

Problem with that is her brother has an ebay account at the old address on her ID - regular account no stealth as far as I know.

I just want to avoid any linkage to my address , and also want to avoid any problems using the same address as her brother.
I believe this account can become extremely solid as I have learned alot in the past couple years.

Ideas? Suggestions? Just want to make this as bulletproof as possible! want to keep it standing long term.

If you also want to make your relation with the above mentioned girlfriend "long term", avoid dragging her into this.

You got the guide, make or buy your stealth account and do it by yourself. That's the best long term option.

well the account would be much more stable and long standing if real info is used so I believe you missed my point completely. as we would be able to provide real documents real ID .. which that is 99% of the problem with stealth accounts they all go down when they start asking for documents/id etc

She doesnt care if I use her info, and I am not breaking any laws so who cares

Just so you know... if they suspend you for whatever reason and you provide docs and such, it's still not a guarantee that you'll get reinstated. In fact many times, you won't.

BUt if you both feel more comfortable doing so, then please do.

Just use a variation of the address so it's not exactly the same as before.

Any trouble with eBay, PayPal or taxes will be in her name... I have read stories in here...

I would avoid that.

Just think about it at least 10 times befor doing so.

well like i said i wont be doing anything illegal or scamming nonsense so it should not be an issue

Horrific idea.....for more reasons that I have time to list. It would take a while.

1.) What happens when you break up?

2.) what happens when SHE gets a 1099k for her taxes?

3.) What happens when a problem comes up and her name, docs, etc...is permanetly banned from ebay and paypal?

4.) what happens when you guys split up?

5.) what happens when you guys break up?

just a couple of the most obvious issues..Biggest one being nearly all relationships end and taxes. Noone likes having tax problems.

I will choose the "use EIN for taxes" option on ebay instead of her name for taxes. they will use only the EIN for tax reporting if this option is selected.

Its still safer than creating a stealth account either way.

She doesnt use ebay so it doesnt matter if she gets banned.

It Seems like that you are HELL bent on using your Girlfriends info although EVERYONE (Including me) are trying to talk you out of it, simply because its the smart AND the right thing to do.

As I was growing up, I some times acted similarly and My Father used to tell me: " Burn, You'll Learn",,,,

That being said the only question that I have for you is: Do you need MATCHES?

haha. well i forgot to mention this is not a new relationship. been together 10 yrs and were getting married soon.

if you want to use an EIN, why not just do it the right way? If you are going that route, using her details is magnitudes more stupid. Heck, you can just use YOUR own name.....
Zero logical reason of any kind to use her name and details under this situation.

Worst decision ever. Stop being Lazy or Scared. You need a name and address?
I can make one up in less time than it took me to write this. Go to Zillow find a address and make up a name. Done... While your at it make up 10 more just for insurance. If you get that eBay or PP email request for info your talking about.

You NEVER EVER want to give a women the opportunity to say she helped you out. You'll owe her forever... never hear the end of it.

"you wouldn't have any of that money if it wasn't for me" I can hear it now....

Even if you had 100 other accounts, she'd still say the same thing.

Honestly speaking....the OP asked his question assuming we would say it's a great idea...we have given him the reasons NOT to do it but lets face it, the OP is going to do it no matter what. So in essence this thread was a waste of time and space.

The one thing I've learned over the years is people are going to do what they want to do no matter how unwise it is.

I'm guessing this is part of a larger pattern of similar choices.

well if i have a real account with real info and social security linked to paypal its always going to be more secure than a stealth account. dont care what anybody says its much better if you want a long term standing account.

With stealth accounts you cant ever provide a ssn so they will ALWAYS fail sooner or later.

Clearly you are operating stealth wrong or have nearly zero experience using stealth.

Plus, If you use an EIN, it is not stealth anyways.

You are either ignorant(not knowing) or afraid. I would work on both of those things before moving forward.

Overall I've liked your posts but you're wrong about that. A tax ID is a tax ID. An account with your girlfriend's SSN wouldn't be any stronger than a stealth account converted to business with an EIN. The only benefit to giving your (or your GF's) SSN would be the ability to work with Paypal's financial institution partners (e.g. apply for Paypal credit).

Converting to business does technically make it not a "stealth" anymore but it's still just as strong. Really, a business account is probably a little stronger than a personal account with an SSN. My oldest EIN account is 4 - my SSN account didn't last 2 years lol.

One of the greatest assets of a stealth account is being able to have multiple, and thus multiplying your exposure in a certain niche.

By operating just your girlfriends account, you put all your eggs in one basket. Surely after you got suspended on eBay/PayPal you've realised how it works? It's like walking on eggshells... one wrong move, or sales too fast all of a sudden, and bang.
