Can I upload photos? or Photobucket Alternative for Stealth

I have been using Photobucket for hosting my images so that I don't have to upload from my computer as I am building a new stealth account.

Now Photobucket are charging $400 for a 3rd party hosting account so before I pay that I am just wanting to know if there is an alternative to it or if there is a safe way to upload?

All advice gratefully received thank you

Pay for a cheap domain name and hosting somewhere, like 5.99 a month and host your own pictures. There are a few image hosting sites still left that offer 3rd party hosting. Check smugmug.

Most have started eliminating 3rd party hosting.

That came up on my search but I couldn't see where the 3rd party hosting on it was? I have read back through all the stealth info on here regarding uploading from desktop, image stripping etc and fingers crossed I can do it that way. Pray for me 🙈

You can upload directly from Google Drive. When you click share, to share the photo on google drive, it will automatically copy the link (if not copy it yourself). Paste the link in the link bar of ebay to import from web.

The link will look like this

h ttps://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6-RmOpDYjqKZlRsOE1Hb05UWkU

then delete the word "open" and replace with "uc"

Like this

h ttps://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B6-RmOpDYjqKZlRsOE1Hb05UWkU

skip the ?

Then type "export=download&"

Like this

h ttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B6-RmOpDYjqKZlRsOE1Hb05UWkU

The format for the download link is:

h ttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID

Replace FILE_ID with the file ID you want to share.

I'm about 90% sure you need separate google drive accounts for each eBay account to not cause a link. But don't quote me on that! But it's better to be safe... I like to keep my photos separated between accounts anyway.

I had to add the space after the h in the https:// so it didn't automatically turn into a link on this page. Obviously that space shouldn't be there.

Once photo is uploaded to eBay, I recommend unsharing the photo and move on to the next photo to upload... and repeat...

Once you get use to it it the process actually goes pretty fast. The photos actually come out better quality than a direct upload from your local machine to eBay so its a win win
