Perm Ban eBay
 

So I got perm banned on ebay recently and I want to see if anyone has any input on it. I had 2 accounts, both linked and were fine (my first 2 eBay accounts ever). One was for business (Top Rated Seller, Power Seller, 99.8% Feedback, 30k items sold yearly, etc). Other account was my personal one, sold a few things here and there. So as business got good, I forgot about that I sold some things on my personal account which made my account go below standard then get perm banned with no notifications). Once that one was perm banned my main business account was already linked and "apparently" perm banned as well. Do you think there is an easier way to get my business account reinstated? Perm banned because of missing to ship about 4-5 things on my personal account and I do take the blame but just curious. Thanks

Only way to get an account reinstated is to call.....if they tell you No, call again and speak to another Rep or Manager, if they tell you No, Repeat until you either give up or start using stealth.

Let's look at this objectively, shall we?

Just call a rep and say, " I got permanently banned for taking 4-5 people's money and never sending them their product... I know they complained and sent lots of emails and opened 4-5 cases which I didn't respond to and allowed to close without resolution... it's such a little thing really, my bad, guys, sorry sorry sorry.... can I please get another chance?"

They're going to jump right on that opportunity to give you another chance, I'm guessing they'll immediately reinstate you - NOT.

If you were one of those 4-5 people who sent you advance good faith payments for product they didn't get you'd probably agree with the ban.

When you get back up and running don't let this happen again. :)

Unfortunately that is why you should never use the same information on 2 accounts. If one goes down it won't be long before the other is suspended as well.

There is no harm in trying to reinstate the accounts, the only thing you can lose at this point is your time

This is spot on.

Not to sound insensitive, but it's a GOOD thing that eBay tries what they can to weed out bad sellers. Even if it wasn't your intention to take other peoples money without delivering their items, or not. Put yourself in the buyers shoes. I've ordered from sellers that didn't deliver, didn't communicate, etc. I'd have no choice but to file an INR case after 2+ weeks of not getting what I ordered. What was I supposed to do? :confused:

Hopefully you learned from this mistake and will strive to provide better service to your clients next time.
