Can I put adsense in my ebay listing html, lol

Here's an odd question. Is it possible to put google adsense in ebay listing html, and have it actually work? I know if ebay discovered the link, there'd probably be dire consequences, but I've run classified ads on ebay with links before, and it turned out okay. The whole post is sort of tongue in cheek, but I was just wondering

Wow.. I never thought of that. It probably wouldn't work, but it would be fun if it did.

I've never fully understood adsense and keep getting it confused with adwords. Is it just some sort of SEO or moneymarket tool or what? Could anyone give a short explanation or perhaps a link to what it's all about? Google's explanations frequently leave me with a headache and more questions.

If you ever look at a website and see the little block of ads that say "ads by google" that's adsense. It's even on aspkin's homepage. Adsense is free to sign up for. You get a block of code to put on your website, and when someone visits your website, and clicks on an ad, you get a little bit of money from the person who put up the ad.
Adwords is the other side. You are the one who puts up the ads, and you pay the people who have put the code on their website.
That's the succinct, basic explanation

Best explanation I've seen yet. Thanks rogueseller :)

The only problem with this--other than ebay's wants/needs lol--is that you're associating that user name with your website. Therefore, if you were ever suspended and had to start over, you probably wouldn't want to do it again, because that would be a sure red flag and would probably result in your immediate suspension.
