feedback issue

I received a neutral feedback from the seller.
I sent him a revision request asking if he could revise that.

The buyer did not answer anything, he just left 1 additional neutral feedback and 3 negatives, so in total he left 3 negatives and 2 neutrals for the single order.

1. How is this even possible?
2. What can I do to fix this?

Re: feedback issue

Just because you sent the buyer a revision request doesn't guarantee he will honor it. If you already communicated with your buyer and he's unresponsive, there is really little you can do about the feedback he left unless it clearly violates eBay's feedback policy.

Re: feedback issue

how could he leave 5 feedbacks on the single order?

Re: feedback issue

When you say "single order" do you mean one sales transaction?

Was this BIN or an auction listing?

I've never heard of this.

Yes, one sales transaction.
Auction.

I think I should call to ebay regarding this issue, it is ridiculous

This doesn't seem possible. so would assume it was a mistake, either call or live chat ebay.

Re: feedback issue

So, if I understand you correctly, the buyer left you a total of 5 feedbacks (3 negatives + 2 neutral) for ONE (1) transaction?

This does not seem possible at all. You need to contact eBay.

If he bought 5 things from you... auctions.. and paid all in one order, it's very possible!

Re: feedback issue

I once had a competitor buy 2 of the same item from me, left me 2 negatives. Luckily they were stupid enough to leave me the negatives before I shipped out the items, called ebay and had the negs removed. So it is possible to get multiple feedback from multiple items purchased by 1 person.

Buyer are damn morons, aren't they?! Well, a lot of them...

I read through certain sellers' negative feedback sometimes, and just feel sorry for the seller. :(

Re: feedback issue

5 items, one order, 5 feedback. That's how I got suspended originally. One buyer, 45 items, 45 negs. At the end of the month I was done, shut me down in the middle of the night.

Now negs mean nothing, but doesn't help 8 years later.

Surprised you didn't hunt them down and make them disappear!

Can you elaborate a little on that statement?

Sounds about right.

Re: feedback issue

Negative FB is no longer used as one of the things EB uses to determine seller performance (defects), at least so they claim. Now it's more about unresloved cases and shipping time that will matter for defects.

Re: feedback issue

I guess that explains some of the TRS accounts I've seen recently with 96% feedback

Even if that wasn't the case it would still have counted as a single strike cause it was one single order.
If you requested one single revision you can still ask 4 more and he can still change all of them.
Have you considered contacting him and offering him a full refund or something along those lines just to get him to do so?
Just a thought.

Re: feedback issue

One other thing, never believe what EB says. They may say that feedback and returns don't matter for seller performance, but you can be sure that during a manual review, if they don't like some metric they could find cause to suspend or limit you.

As Slokor mentioned above, best to head off issues with customers at all costs, even if it means refunding to avoid the strike or negs.

Now that's true, but that wasn't always the case.

I received a neutral feedback from the seller.

You mean the buyer, right? Seller's can't leave anything but positive feedback now...
