Question What margins do you look for on eBay?

I've always wondered, what's the typical markup you look for when deciding what to sell?

Given the recent fee changes, we usually look for products with at least 100% markup. After eBay, PP and other costs, we usually end up with about 70% profit.

Just curious what others are doing.

I look for 100% or more and an easy sell, sometimes youve got to pad out account with lower margin goods to help out the ones that really sell well...

Yeah, I agree with oompa, you would be surprised at how the lower margin goods can still add up to nice profits when your not even trying.

if I'm buying legit stuff i look for 55-100% I will go less then 55% but i have to be able to sell in a high volume to make it worth my time.

if i'm selling vero or something i am risking.. like 100-200%

Nope, I don't have enough tech knowledge for that. 70+ per cent of my stuff is $900-$1800 though...I don't have more than 10% in 3500+, but I do sometimes and usually make around 10-15% on those.
BTW, I don't sell anything Chinese.
