eBay wants my old address in order to increase my limits on ebay? any idea?

Are they wanting an old address that was previously used on this account, or old address you lived at?

If the later, they likely are pulling questions from a public records database to confirm your identity.

Okay, I moved to a new address. Got PayPal/Bank/eBay all linked to the new address. They wanted my name, dob, and previous address that I received a bill or mail from. The account is in my business partners nickname. Verified with PayPal and all good. They wanted his full name and dob, which i don't think it would link him to the account to ban the account but eBay needed a previous address he lived at before the "New" address to make sure he's real? I really don't know what to do at this point. I was going to google similar names in our area and give them the address of ones that come up but I don't know if that would work? Really urgent.

Hope your partner knew you were using his info.

Doing that created a link between accounts and there may be problems.

Yes he knows but what should I do? There shouldn't be a link anyway

I don't even see how, New IP, New Computer, New Address, New Bank account, New Name, New City, New Business Name, New Phone Number, New email, New, New, New. Is it possible since my account is less than 30 days with no sales?
