Prepaid debit or gift card for ebay fees??
 

I see tons of threads about this but no actual answers. Trying to pay my fees, accidentally took too much out of pp balance.

Do I need a prepaid debit card like green dot?

or a prepaid gift card? I've heard they need to be verifiable. What does that mean? They need to have my info or the stealth info? I'm severely confused if someone could just let me know what works for them I'd appreciate it. and details!!!

also I don't want to wait for days to get a card id like one that's available in the stores.

You can use a prepaid gift card.

Vanilla Visa prepaid gift cards let you register the card (the card you get in the store) to a zip code. So you register it to your stealth account's zip code and pay.

I second Vanilla Gift cards. You can get them just about anywhere: 7-Eleven, CVS, Walmart, etc.

They do indeed work well and are safe to use to pay your eBay fees (for stealth account) just make sure you designate the proper zip code first.

You mean physically taking the card outside the US? I don't think so, cards say only valid within the US

I do - sometimes I will drive to the US and pick up some cards and use them to pay fees in USD for my non-US accounts

Depends which countries, Canada - USA and even mexico is not a problem. It's other countries that can pose issues using the card, so you'll have to ask customer service about this.

I think SaiJin is correct, US and Canada Vanilla works, but when I tried to use it in Asia it doesn't work, at least the physical card didn't.

Vanilla GC's sold in USA say in all caps on the front "VALID ONLY IN THE UNITED STATES." So for this particular type of card, no you can't, unless you're trying to pay a US merchant from a US IP address in another country.

i use the PP balance always for fees unless you dip on the invoice :)

Since One Vanilla does not work. Could someone please pm me for an alternative to one vanilla for eb fees?
