Help needed.
 

Hi.

In a pickle.

I need to close my relaly old ebay account down, it goes back a long way started in 2010. But due to a few life issues and more i have lagged in posting items out, plus have not deleted items that were not for sale anymore.

I have a few items that I can not post now, maybe totalling $120.. I don't want to screw people over but I think I might need to just close the account and never look back.

Is this a good idea... as my paypal is in the negative and i don't have money to post the items that I do have.

Any advice be great.

Your not going to just be able to close the account

You need to refund people for the items you cannot provide then take your listings down, make sure that the PayPal balance is £0 and then just forget about it :)

I know this forum can't condone bad practice but.... paypal won't have my details as it's stealth account..

And ebay will refund them through buyers protection.. (just a slither of their $34b worth).

You said in your first post you don't want to screw anyone over. eBay is a public company with shareholders. You're screwing every shareholder when you do something shady like that.

I think what James was saying is that eBay won't allow you to close your account when you have open issues. Just cancel those orders and refund the buyers.

When you screw over eBay or Paypal you make things harder for literally everyone who uses stealth accounts to make a living.

Exactly! The current hurdles that good sellers have to overcome are because of people like 90% of the members here lol :mad:

You used the platform - you pay the dues - financial issues need to be resolved not evaded

You should have the money that was given to you to refund, there should be no issues here.

If you used the money, then that is entirely on you.
