Default how to tell if i can sell item on ebay?

hey guys,
quick question. you know how you cant sell dvds on ebay? because ebay wil end your auction even if the dvds are not bootlegs?

how can i know ahead of time what items you cannot sell on ebay? because i have found a product that can make me profit, but the only problem is, i dont know if its one of those products that ebay will end for "copyright infringement". i dont want to buy these and then get stuck with them. can i find out ahead of time?

You have to look at current auctions in detail to see what they are doing. What are the specifications of their items, colors accessories. Check the manufactures website to see if they actually sell that product in that make. Go to google and type in your product followed by f*ke or c*unterf*eit and you should see some forum where people outline what the knockoffs looks like. Most of the time they will say they bought it off ebay lol. Ask your supplier for actual image, (not stock image) and compare. Basically see if yours cant blend in with everybody else. Even then, those sellers might be the one's who eBay lets sell those items or worked it out with the vero member.

You never really know until you list.

List the item and see if it gets pulled. If not cancel the auction manually, 12 hours before it is scheduled to end and pick the remove all bids option.

You never know with Ebay. Many times Ive done trial runs with one or 2 items to see if they will get pulled- they don't, then I buy a load of stock then 2 days later my listings are pulled and Im left with a large batch of useless crap. Best thing is to tread really carefully, list 1 item then 2 then 3 etc and buy stock in as smaller quantities as possible

All DVD's are faike in ebay's eyes - there is a vero man for all dvd's - the ppl who are there selling now either have good luck or they can take more hits than you or they worked it out with the vero man.

Is that a joke?
It doesnt matter anyway, you can have genuine items with the receipt photographed and they will still be removed if they feel like it

^^^Agreed. DVDs are right troublesome at times as are a whole lot of other items.
