changing phone number

had a stealth account for a while now lost the number i registered the account ages ago. every time i log into ebay it would say confirm number and i was just click maybe later but today i accidentally clicked confirm.

and now i cant find anywhere on ebay to update a new number and will they have to send a text to the old number to change as i have lost that number and that could be a problem.

starting to have a mini panic attack because the email on the account i have lost as well and i wonder if i change both if its gonna ask me to confirm form the old one which i wont be able.

please can the good people of aspkin give me some advice

and before anyone says yes i know i should be more organised lol

Changing the phone number is a hard thing to find, not sure why Ebay made it so difficult. It's under Personal Information, then find the place where it says Address. You need to "update your address"... it's under there. So weird.

Just add the new number for now, don't delete the old number for a month or two until the new one is active in EB's system.

yes, they allow a secondary phone number, so take advantage of it

Im assuming you add secondary number by clicking edit primary number?

because i just went to do that and then it came up with confirm your phone number and let me put in any number i wanted and it also said confirm email and number. so it seems i never had either confirmed. so could i just add new email and mobile?

also having problems when i add my mobile number it never sends me text whats the correct way to add it 44 and miss out the 0?
