Followup post to "Odd buyer attempt at refund"

So today I was finally able to get eBay to step in. I counted it as a loss from the comments in the previous thread but I didn't want to give in that easy so I pressed on.

What ended up happening is after having eBay step in I decidied to give eBay a call because the buyer never actually returned to sender like they claimed and it infact was just sitting at their post office so I began to suspect a legit scam attempt. Turns out eBay thinks the same thing, sat on the phone for ten minutes explaining the situation over again and they said they will be closing the case in my favor!

:bounce: Pretty damn suprised to the say least. Just wanted to followup to say that maybe communicating with eBay in cases like this could be really beneficial for sellers!((Maybe not in all cases, I am not really sure as I'm not that experienced with eBay if you couldn't already tell))

Thank you for the kind words! Hopefully this maybe able to help someone down the line when deciding whether its worth calling up eBay!

Both threads demonstrate the fact sometimes eBay must be involved in resolving issues.
