Status below standard, delete account?
 

My current account status is: Above standard.

My projected account status is: Below standard (This below standard status will be for the period from 20/Dec till the 19th of Jan/2018).

On the 20th of Jan/2018, the regular evaluation will take place and the status will be top rated again.


So here is a quick recap of my status:


From now on until the 19th of Dec/2017: Above standard (Current status) // At the same time, the projected status I can see today is "Below standard"

From the 20th of Dec/2017 till the 19th of Jan/2018: Below standard

Staring from the 20th of Jan/2018: Top rated again


I am worried that Ebay will count my projected status (which started 2 days ago as below standard) as below standard and add it to the period between 20/12/2017 - 19/01/2018. This way I would have had 2 months of below standard status.

Does it work this way?


Ebay.de says on their website that if my status is below standard for 60 days I might get my account suspended or my selling limits shortened.


Should I just wait till Jan/2018 to get my top-rated status back or should I delete my account and avoid limitation all together?

If eBay.de has the same rules as eBay US regarding below standard performance you should be fine. eBay US started allowing sellers to stay on as long as they're improving n their low performing area. I suggest calling in and asking an agent and seeing if they have started doing the same thing.
