Strange Accounts
 

Has anyone else noticed U.S. based accounts with zero feedback gaining massive listing and sales conversion? The only thing that I can noticed about these accounts that would save them from immediate ban is the fact they are a few months old. There has to be a technique that the algo picks up to exploit sales like this. What is everyone's take on this?

New listings always get a huge boost in rankings. This could just be someone on here with a bunch of accounts they aren't afraid to call in on if something happens. I always save a few accounts for this time of year...

I haven't noticed the accounts you referenced but the seller is most likely a pro if they're getting massive conversion. It's no big conspiracy though. You can do what they're doing.

I've had my fair share of getting hot. But call me crazy, it is always after a few feedback on new accounts. Some of these accounts are absolutely on fire.

I cant remember the exact category it was in because I have been digging through a lot. But one hint I have noticed, they average about 3-6 months in age with 0 feedback. And the account is in vero land.

Not mention, my definition of catching on fire is like 20+ sales in a few days. Its like the algo grabs them for some odd reason.

Makes you wonder if they get insta-banned within a month later, though. Had an account get that hot last year during Christmas. It had perfect feedback and got torched.

I've see new accts with 100s of risky Vero listings until suspension. The smart ones will stop selling for a long while selling on another so accts dont get linked from selling similar items..

I knew a guy who sold more during xmas for only 2 years on his real account. He started listing just a few guci purses and it was over.

I operate one 5 year stealth has less then 200 fb mostly risky electronics, some business equipment. More than 75% of my listing get placed at #1 to #6 for best match. Most time #1. I start listing from a best match search result then improve that listings title with a lot of high res photos. Their finally lowering my rank now😂
