Any way to get around Ebay identity check?
 

Once you register an account with Ebay.de, they will let you sell for around 2 months before they ask you to confirm your ID. The confirmation is all about sending Ebay a copy of your ID, and a copy of your "Meldebescheinigung" which is an official document in Germany that states your address.


Ebay code for this process is MC121.


Any thoughts on how to get around this?

I opened the account in April/2017, I will list sales statistics below:

April 400 $

May 1724 $

June 5642 $


Ebay asked for ID copies in mid June.

All you can do is provide them with what they have asked for

If you cannot get past the checks then you could look at registering the account in another country and selling on eBay Germany. That should help avoid it

This guy is the phake cord seller who wants to get back on so he can go back to his old tricks.

You might think twice before helping him so that he can do that...

I don't know what is it with you exactly! I explained in my previous replies in a different thread that I am going to relist these cables as a generic product (which is 100% fine).

Btw I am not banned from Ebay, but I wanted to get some ideas on how to circumvent the ID check on Ebay.de for future accounts.
