Post black friday sales

So Black Friday/Cyber Monday is over now, and it was pretty crazy for me... never seen this kind of volume. I think I saw anywhere from 5-10x my normal sales.

I'm just wondering, now that those monster days are out of the way, what kind of volume should we expect these next few months? Im sure it won't be the same as it was these past few days, but will it trickle back to pre holiday levels? Somewhere in between? What's everyone's experience?

For me personally it is still increases slowly from here to around the 22nd as people buy presents

It really depends on what your selling though. Have you sold in this period before?

Depends on your niche but in mine sales are good through about early Feb. and then it dives off.

I've never sold in this period before. Definitely could have been more prepared.

My sales are pretty good throughout the year, and I would imagine to see increased sales throughout holiday times (as my items are highly giftable). But for me, I saw a crazy spike this past Friday-Monday, and it has definitely leveled out since then to pre-Black Friday levels... maybe slightly higher. So I'm just wondering if it will/hoping it can get crazy like that again :)

Not at all, I actually increased prices up by 20% or so. The enormous influx of volume I saw made it possible for me to do this and still increase my sales by a great deal.

My prices are still elevated and I'm still selling through, just not at the rate I was that weekend.

Amazon up eBay down seems to be the trend from what I've heard. EBay stock reects this. Jeff up 1 billion net worth...

Hot targeted categories sold quite well. But the yearly main stays that are consistent went quiet. Ran through a lot of stock and didnt get the tail end of the mega sales. Overall, wasnt as hot as last year, but still made decent money for the holiday sales.

I would much prefer it to be consistent all year round then have dips and bounces in sales that is me personally

We split things over the accounts. Those extra specials are pushed to their limits f0r the cyber sales, especially the USA accounts. We then close for the holidays.

This is an effective method f0r is to keep everything going OK. The midstreams operate until 12/15. No way are we risking postage issues.

We have back ups that we use for post Christmas sales to cover the others.

Was a good year this year,IMO.

I did pretty good this time of the year, about the same volume from last year but I am selling the same things from last year.

Not at all , what ? For you or in General ? Sales numbers from the two sites can be found online. So there you go , bud.

I don't do so much at this time of year, thank goodness because people are crazy until Christmas is over.

My busiest months of the year are January, February and March.

Congratulations on your post Black Friday fortune! Good work! Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity!!! :)

That is very true. But I have noticed over the year consistency has become more difficult by about 10-15 percent of sales. A lot of old or expansion of new products into line up. Seems some of the wholesale products are becoming dated and stagnant overall on the general market.
