How should i ship my first product?
 

I listed a product on ebay and it will be sold in 2 days. How should i ship this product out? I don't really have a way to purchase an ebay made shipping label since the stealth account is new and not funded. Could i use UPS label creation service? I said i would be using UPS ground as the method. Or is there a better way to ship out my first product.

You can use:

UPS.com
Fedex.com
USPS.com
Stamps.com
DHL.com
(to name a few)

Any of those would give you the ability to print a shipping label outside of eBay. They all work just fine.

Thank you. When creating a UPS label, im assuming i would use my actual address and my stealth name correct? My apologies for asking, the stealthbook didn't cover shipping as much.

You're good - don't worry about it lol.

As long as you're printing the label outside of eBay it doesn't matter what name and address you use. I use stamps.com's software and all my packages ship with my real name and address. eBay only sees the tracking number.

Got it, im worried the buyer may worry. So im planning on using stealth name and actual address. UPS won't care about this either right? They'll let me create the label with stealth name and actual address?

Put it in an envelope, buy a stamp, and drop it in a mailbox... ?

You can go into a post office, use the automated machine or stand in line, get a label with tracking, and mail it.

Or go into a UPS store, because that's what you promised, and do the same thing. :)

That's the least of the problems you are going to face. In the future don't promise something unless you've already figured out how to do it if somebody buys. :)

The buyer could not care less what name is on the package they receive. All that matters to the buyer is the contents.

I understand where you're coming from. This gets a lot easier once you have an understanding about what to be careful with.

The buyer usually won't worry about shipping address unless...it's from another country altogether e.g. you say you are selling in US but buyer sees item comes from China or so....other than that, you're fine as phaz indicated.

OP - I believe you should still be able to create your label through ebay if that's what you wish to do. I've been given the option to print the label in advance with funds to be deducted once they become available.
