Using an old PP buyer account?
 

I created a stealth PayPal about 6 months ago just to pay supplier invoices. It has never received a payment, but made a large amount of purchases via the linked credit card.

I find myself low on eBay accounts after the holiday purge and am thinking of creating an eBay account to link to this PP. And in turn, creating a new stealth PP to pay seller invoices.

Given the age of the PP account (6 months) vs the young age of the eBay account I'd be creating, are there any particular procedures I should be following when combining the two accounts? Since the PP account has never accepted payment, and the eBay account would be a mere baby, am I correct in thinking this would be no different than just creating a new eb/PP altogether from scratch?

There is a chance that PP will cause you headache by thinking you are dropshipping if you use funds to pay your supplied and also accept sales.

I am a fan of using separate pp to buy and sell merchandise but that's my own pref.

For whatever it's worth, I think it would be fine, if the name, address and other info match.

You're effectively just adding an EB account to your PP, it's not really any different than if at some point you decided to add a BNZ or ETY or website to it.

I've added new venues to PP accounts many times. For example, I've had an EB account fail, then used the PP for some other site.
