Linked stealth account funny story
 

So basically brought a stealth account couples years back on forum. Account became a top seller and everything. Guess what they banned the account because it was linked to another person who created the same name and address but decide to run off on eBay by not paying the bill.

Anyone face this problem. Thanks

eBay is getting smarter when you charge your sellers @ 14% of each sell. Basically highway robbery

Knock on wood, hopefully I never face this problem. Getting ready to purchase some accounts too.

Pretty sure eBay usually charges me 10% per sale, what are you selling? Nobody likes to pay fees, but I think it's fair given the instant exposure you get to their millions of users. It's commensurate to what many companies would spend on marketing themselves when selling via traditional channels.

@kirkland I am always thinking eBay's friend PayPal which ends up being 14%.

Just be careful. Its my 2 cents. Pretty much have to scrap that account. Called eBay up and told me that I have to login into the other account in order for me to pay the fees in order for my stealth account to be active again. No way I am giving someone a free lunch. So you have to roll with the punches as a stealther.

I think I'd contact the account seller about this. On the one hand they didn't know this would happen, on the other hand an account that fails like this really isn't your fault.

I think it falls into the class of 'warranty claim'. :)

This is a good reason to check the seller's replacement policy before you buy lol

I don't blame the seller who made me the account. Its the luck of draw. I brought various accounts from a lot of seller.
Just want to give everyone heads up when in the business of stealth you always have that 1% probability someone at that address will use to create account. So be prepared with backup.
