Can you Open Ebay Case after paypal ?
 

hi,
I have this buyer who got the item, damaged it (blow up by supplying wrong power / voltage) and returns it.

after asking not to open a case and telling I would refund when I got them he went ahead and opens a paypal case anyway. and it seems I will win the case but is it possible to open an ebay case after paypal one loses.?

I know it can be done the other way around. open paypal case after ebay case. but how it would be in this situation.?

Most of the time it's the other way around rarely this happens for me. I would still do it and take it as far as you can, but do 1 at a time if the outcome isn't what you want. People do it for eBay and then take it with Paypal and usually win that way.

I am asking in buyers perspective. can he open an ebay case after if he lost paypal ?

Yes, he can. But you can already see that yourself.

They also can open a case with their charge card company ( if they funded the PP transaction that way ) after the first two tries with EB and PP fail.

And if they claim it was DOA the likelihood is they'll win one of them.

Buyers get several chances to win a complaint.

wow a buyer has a lot of ways to fraud us. ebay paypal credit card company.... hard for us!

Certainly it is hard for sellers. Being a buyer isn't entirely a bed of roses either, sad to say. EB's made it tough for everybody. :(

Yes, they can do that unfortunately.

Perhaps it's worth it to contact customer support that they lost the paypal claim and see if they could help you... if the item is super expensive.

yes, he can... but if you win the case with paypal so ebay should be same... don’t worry..!!!
