How to get my sellings volume higher?
 

I have been restricted since i got suspended once when I had open a new ebay account. I got suspended for selling a "High Risk" item and then got everything cleared and have been selling all my items with tracking for 2 months now since i checked and still have this restriction.

Has anyone came across this issue before?

Sell to your limits, that should push it up over time. Or better yet, sell over multiple accounts to mitigate your risk of suspension.

How high are your limits? How much feedback have you received? Is your PayPal account verified? Are you receiving open item cases? How are your metrics?

Assuming that your limits are low, you've gotten good feedback and no issues, and you are "Above Standard", I'd give eBay a call and request an increase manually.

If you have some issues with the account (other than the single suspension) try working on those first.

Also, once your account has been hit/flagged, it's not going to reach the heights it once could have. It's honestly better to start over.

My account has been at only selling 10 items and have been maxing out every month since I started. I been getting a lot of good feed back. Paypal is verified. Only have been suspend once when i first posted a item. I'll give them a call right now and come back with some feedback.

Accounts where I've had a serious problem rarely seem to recover for me even if they lift any limits.

SO I ended up getting 30 items and 3k a month now. Asked about the restriction and CS said I had none.

Yeah, they lie. Before they get the CSR job they have to tell 10 impossible stories and get the interviewer to believe every one of them.

Seriously, though, Cassini takes into account that little unpleasantness you just went through. You aren't 'restricted' as such, but what difference does it make when you're only shown starting on page 21,782 of search?

Ok, to be clear:

The very FIRST item removal does not have THAT drastic of an impact.

Usually a first minor takedown (incorrect category for instance) will have an impact of 8-15 items search results down bump. in other words, your item will show that much lower than before.

This has been my personal experience.

Obviously it depends on the item, keywords used, amount of competing listings, original placement, etc.

If your item is a basket and the customer searches "basket" obv thats a different story.

But if you're selling a game, say Halo 5 Guardians, and the customer searches "Halo guardians" its going to look more like what I said above.

Point being: It's not like the account becomes useless, but it DOES have an impact on your search ranking.

They will lie about these things remember

The eBay search system will take it into account and so can the bots that allocate limits

That doesn't mean that they are, but it is likely for at least the first few month
